Craske, George 1850 b. 1795 d. 1888
£10,000
Fine and prolific English maker trained with ‘Young’ Forster and made instruments for Thomas Dodd. This instrument, as were many, was refitted and sold through W. E. Hill & Sons. It is a fine example of his work with characteristic craftsmanship, fine sound and strong golden reddish brown varnish.
